W.E.B Griffin Biography

William Edmund Butterworth III was born on the 10^th of November in 1929, which was a Sunday. For those readers interested in all things astrological, that makes him a Scorpio, which is one of the Water signs.

William was born in South Orange, a small town of around 16,000 residents very close to Newark, located in New Jersey, which is a state in the United States of America. Though born near Newark, he grew up in two other major US cities – New York City, which needs no introduction, and Philadelphia, a large city of getting on for two million people, in Pennsylvania, which is the state immediately west of New Jersey.
