CJ Box Biography
CJ Box was born on the 9th of November in 1958, which was a Sunday. For those readers interested in all things astrological, that make him a Scorpio, which is one of the Water signs.
CJ was born in Casper, a city with a population of around 56,000 people, in Wyoming, a state in the mid-north of the United States of America and which, despite having some of the most rugged terrain on the continent (i.e. mountains and extinct volcanoes), when looked at on a map, it’s almost perfectly square. (It’s like the cartographer wasn’t even trying! I hope they didn’t pay him for that day’s work.) CJ’s father served in the army and then later became a teacher. CJ has three sisters. His family lived just down the road for the Cheney family – their son Dick went on to be the Vice President from 2001 to 2009. Later in life, CJ met Dick a number of times, though Dick admitted to never having read any of his books (his wife Lynne had though).
