Joseph Finder Biography
Joseph Finder was born on the 6th of October in 1958, which was a Monday. For those readers interested in all things astrological, that makes him a Libra, which is one of the Air signs.
Joe was born in Chicago, a city with a population approaching three million, located in Illinois, which is a state in the United States of America. Joe’s family is Jewish. His mother, Natalie, was a professor at The College of Saint Rose, which is a not-for-profit college in Albany, New York. Morris, Joe’s father, was an English professor at the University at Albany, which as the name suggests, is in Albany. Morris managed to obtain a Fulbright Grant which allowed him to run programs throughout the world to teach people English as a second language. With regard to siblings, Joe has at least one brother (who is a magazine editor and Joe’s agent, so gets to see any new books before anyone else).
Because of Morris’s profession and the fact he had received that grant, Joe was taken out of the USA when he was just two years old. He spent a number of years living in Kabul, which is the capital of Afghanistan. Because his parents worked during the day, he was looked after by local domestic helpers.
