Mark Dawson Biography

Mark Dawson was born in 1973. On what day is not public knowledge. Even the month is a mystery.

Mark was born in Lowestoft, a seaside town 110 miles northeast for London, with a population of 71,000 people. It is in Suffolk, which is a county in the southeast of England. Very little is known about Mark’s early life – nothing about which school he attended or about his hobbies. One thing that he stated in an interview is that he wrote his first book, a novella, while in middle school.

Mark decided to continue his education and ended up at the University of Manchester, which has a student body of around 40,000 and is in the city of Manchester, which is in North of England, about 200 miles from London. There, Mark studied law. And in contrast to his work as a writer, there is no ‘twist’ in his story – after graduation, he became a lawyer. That said, he has had an interesting career progression along the way. Mark has worked as a disc jockey, has sold ice cream door-to-door in Chicago in the USA, has been a factory hand, and has worked as a club promoter.

Mark didn’t enjoy a life working in the law, however. His days were filled with chasing money launderers and acting on behalf of celebrities who were upset with what some newspaper had written about them.
